Core Responsibilities

The website content manager will be responsible for uploading approved content to the content management system and publishing the content to the desired brand website or product page. The content manager will also ensure that final content assets are created to the proper editorial/cms guidelines and assist in coordinating the gathering of these assets for distribution. The content manager will be working with project managers to ensure that each update is deployed as intended by all shareholders involved. The content manager is encouraged to evaluate process efficiencies and trouble points, and assist the measurement team in measuring content effectiveness. Content managers work with strategy, creative, account and planning teams on opportunities and best practices for creating new content. They are responsible for activating content on medium and large projects, as well as one-off content updates as needed.

Owned Tasks & Responsibilities
• Audit, gather and document final content assets from internal and external agency teams via approval applications
• Coordinate the distribution of final content assets with internal and external stakeholders
• Import final content assets and enter new content (or content updates) to a content management system
• Conduct quality assurance testing and post production verification testing of deployment updates across multiple users and devices
• Regularly monitor process and identify opportunities for efficiency updates
• Identify opportunities to repurpose and reuse content and functionality
• Serve as primary point of contact for all content management issues
• Regularly update both branded websites and product pages

Shared Tasks & Responsibilities
• Reviews in-progress content assets to ensure adherence with editorial and legal guidelines
• Informs the optimization phase of a content creation project, providing the internal team with best practices and learnings
• Participate in weekly internal and client meetings with cross-functional teams providing spec requirements for media, best practices on layout and status on eComm projects
• Conduct strategy audits for multiple brands

Experience/Requirements
• 2+ years experience in the following areas:
o Managing digital content on medium to large-scale projects
o Collaborating with multiple disciplines including; creative, project management, client services, etc.
o Working within a content management system to deploy content
o Comfortable reading and working within HTML, XML, CSS and other common coding languages
• Experience working with web project management tools
• Experience with SEO
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• Solid interpersonal and teamwork abilities
• Demonstrated critical thinking ability
• Experience working with Amazon Vendor Central (AVC)
• Experience working within an agency environment preferred

Education
• Bachelor’s degree
• Certifications in related field (content strategy, user experience, etc) a plus
