Martin Retail Group, in partnership with Leo Burnett Advertising, has been serving the automotive industry for more than 30 years. Our services don’t stop there: we also provide advertising expertise to clients like Fifth Third Bank and Ace Hardware and continue to add new clients throughout the country.

Summary:
We are currently in the market for an Account Executive to join our Danbury, CT team. The position will work to support the communication and marketing needs of our clients and Martin Retail field organization.

Responsibilities:
Daily position responsibilities will include:
• Gathering, organizing, and analyzing key data-- synthesizing for communication purposes
• Writing and building clear, persuasive PowerPoint presentations and other client communication materials for a variety of audiences
• Updating and maintaining high level summary reports, spreadsheets, and other tracking documents
• Coordinating creative requests for Broadcast, Digital, Print, Outdoor, and other mediums
• Ensuring proper trafficking of above mentioned creative assets
• Executing and maintaining social media campaigns for Local Marketing Associations
• Fostering and maintaining strong client and team relationships
• Attending and participating, as needed, in client meetings

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
• 3+ years agency account management experience; some on automotive retail preferred
• Strategic mindset, analytical thinker, and detail-oriented
• Exceptional listening, verbal, and written communication skills
• A self-starter that works independently and is proactive
• Solid project management capabilities; ability to manage and improve processes
• Ability to multitask and be comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously
• Proven relationship-building skills
• Works well within a team environment and has a desire to grow
• Consistently meet deadlines and monthly deliverables
• Seeks out new tasks that add value to client services and team support
• A working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly within Excel and PowerPoint
• An undergraduate degree from an accredited institution
